Velocity hits the mark
Velocity is transforming the way Australians find out about science, and pretty much everyone getting their hands on it reckons it does a great job communicating about this country's breakthrough science.

Ninety-five percent of Velocity readers who completed our June survey thought Velocity was interesting. Nine out of ten respondents think it delivers relevant stories, and a huge majority (85%) believe it's valuable.

Velocity is enthusing young Australians about science. "I find it very interesting, but I get more out of it by sharing Velocity with my two boys aged 12 and 15," said one parent.

Most Velocity readers work in the education, government/defence and science and technology areas. "In one issue Velocity lets me know accurately more about what Australians are doing in science than the mass media do in a year," said a subscriber.

You told us you want more Australian science from the space/astronomy, environmental, biotech, nanotech, medicine and nuclear arenas - and we plan on putting your thoughts into action for you. Watch this space as we deliver it.

If your friends are missing out on Australia's cutting edge science, send them this edition using the Send to a friend link and share the knowledge and fun of excellence in Australian science.
