When you look at this website an internal system makes a record of your visit and logs the following information - the user's full IP address, the user's server address, the user's top level domain name (for example .com, gov, au, uk etc), the date and time of visit to the site, the page visited and any document downloaded. Statistics are generated at the top-level domain only.

No attempt will be made to identify users or their browsing activities except where required by law.

Cookies
Cookies are only used for specific and restricted site purposes on this website. Cookies are not used to generate or collect information from the general public.

Use and disclosure of information collected
ANSTO will only record your email address if you send us a message, or subscribe to an ANSTO mailing list. Your email address will only be used or disclosed for the purpose for which you have provided it and it will not be added to any other mailing list or used or disclosed for any other purpose without your consent.

User data collected may be transferred to Canada, the United States or other third party countries for processing.

Any personal information obtained by ANSTO through this website, for example contained in applications for positions vacant, user feedback forms etc is used only for the specific purpose intended. This information is not held on any external web server. Once ANSTO receives information from you via email or any other means, the information is in a secure environment. Your personal information will not be released unless the law permits it or your permission is granted.
